  7. TrueList 2.0 from Data Discover, Inc.  is a computer program that
  8. saves time and money by identifying and removing probable duplicate
  9. addresses from mailing lists.  As mailing and production costs 
  10. continue to rise, companies need to be more aware of the money 
  11. wasted on duplicate mailings.  With TrueList, this waste can be
  12. eliminated.

  14.      TrueList uses an approach so unique it finds many duplicates
  15. other programs miss.  For example, TrueList can find the
  16. following duplication.

  23.      TrueList runs in the Microsoft Windows environment and is
  24. very easy to use.  TrueList works with either ASCII text or DBF
  25. (dBase) format mailing lists.

  27.      At the low price of $149, TrueList pays for itself in a
  28. short time, and can even be used in conjunction with other
  29. mailing software to wring out additional duplicates that would  
  30. otherwise be left in.

  33. About the Demonstration Release
  34. -------------------------------

  36. This is a "crippled" release of TrueList 2.0.  The following 
  37. are the limitations introduced into the Demonstration version:
  38.  
  39.   * Filtered Output file is disabled
  40.   * Duplicates Output file is disabled
  41.   * DBF Deletion is disabled (cannot set the delete flag on input 
  42.                   file records)
  43.   * Limit of ten pairs of duplicate addresses per run
  44.  
  45. This demonstration may be freely distributed under the condition that
  46. it remains in its original, unmodified form.

  48. Data Discovery, Incorporated encourages you to try TrueList on your own
  49. data.  Since every set of mailing list data has its own characteristics,
  50. TrueList can be fine-tuned for optimal performance on each data set.  If
  51. very few duplicate records are discovered, try lowering the threshold
  52. under the Options menu.  If too many 'False Positives' (not true dups)
  53. are found, increase the threshold.

  55. This demonstration will give you an idea of just how many duplicates you
  56. have in your mailing list.  These dups are costing you money, and they
  57. can be eliminated with TrueList 2.0.
